Fox & Friends Weekend ping to the Today show ping list.

I really like the FOX News channel, but I have to take a pass on Fox & Friends. That show just sucks. I would rather sit in silence than have those people blathering on. Strangely, the weekend edition seems to be worse than the weekday one.

I cut off F&F Weekend this morning and have watched it for the last time. If I wanted to watch uninformed liberals performing for the cameras, I'd be a Katie Couric "Today Show" fan. This morning's pity party for the poor Muslim rioters was simply the last straw. We bought Dish several years ago to get a more balanced media outlet. This morning's show, plus promos for Fox's global warming special tonight, makes me question if it's worth what we're spending to get Fox. If the goal of Ailes is just to be another liberal msm channel, we may just drop Fox and Dish in '06.

I'm not sure Fox news hasn't been drifting to the dark side for some time now. I think they are falling under the celebrity, beltway type of spell Rush is always talking about.

Surprised about Page Hopkins. My read on her is that she is a true conservative.

Phillips is an idiot.

If we want to listen to that drivel, we can watch dozens of OTHER channels. Maybe an email or ten to friends@foxnews.com.....

While the women wrung their hands about how the French yoots have been "disenfranchised," Phillips talked about how the underclasses have historically been mistreated in France "going back to the time of the French revolution!

Just as I put the TV on, that's what they were discussing. My foggy ,no caffeine yet brain registered Lib "Buzz" words. Not a good way to start the morning! ;-)

I first started watching the show when it was Juliet, Brian, Steve & Mike Jerrick.

I've never been impressed with Julian.

Has the time has come for Fox News to scrap the weekend edition and start again from scratch?

Yes. I just switched to C-Span. FNF has become unwatchable, except for Michelle Malkin, who was co-hosting yesterday. Ms. Hopkins interviewed two people yesterday on how poor President Bush could get out of the hole he is in and she had one guy who really hates the President and another guy who just kind of doesn't like him. It was pretty awful.

So why do you guys watch it at all?

Just change the channel and let their ratings take the hit.

I'm not a masochist...

Ah, but YESTERDAY had Michelle Malkin acting as host. She was terrific! I wish they'd haveher more often.

Thanks for the warning, however.I'll be certain I'll NOT tune in this AM. The weater channel sounds likea good alternative! I'm so happy that Juliet and Mike are gone, but I hope they settle on someone sensible to fill the spot.

Geesh, he sees Les Mis one time and thinks he is an expert.

As always, a good essay...BTW...I ,must make a public confession...for some time now I have been so annpoyed by the weekend Fox morning show..especially Julian, but also metrosexual Mike, that I have been turning on.... GASP!!!! MSNBC..pretty good show, fairly even in its tone..no stupid bantering..straightforward news, and yes, I must admit it..I find Alex Witt hot!!! ( BTW..for those of you not familar with the show..Alex is a girl...)

Question: do we now need an "Alex Witt rule?"

As I have said before - Fox News has gone left and it is getting closer to CNN everyday. We put them in first place and they have gone over to the side of the anti-American left wing.

I have stopped watching anything except Bill, and Bret.

Everyone knows why Julian is there.

Page Hopkins just insisted, "Global warming is REAL."

But what the heck...turn off the sound and just watch the beautiful, devastatingly cute, Kiran Chetry.

Glad I missed it. I usually like Kirin, but Julian and no longer tolerable.
