Me too..........it was hard to keep up with. And if anyone went to that thread to find the vote, it would have been very hard to find.

I appreciate the new thread. 7-8,000 posts can be tough to look at when you're trying to find out information.

Now would y'all quit arguing about what is appropriate to post? Too much PC makes me want to barf.

Main thing is the Dims backed down, were afraid to vote, after all their foolish rambling. Sending that poor old man up there as their puppet, was disgusting.

Do you people who post these threads EVER look for another ONGOING thread to post this on?

Thanks to the original poster on this thread I don't have to wade through 7000 comments on the other thread to discern the results of the vote.

My sentiments exactly! I don't see what the big deal is about a vote count thread -- personally I like them!

I can understand that. I have only ever put up one vanity post. Like Children, we would like to see them live forever, and our words/ideas become immortal. Some of us are lazy though.

That's what I said as well -- I was at our County GOP banquet and I loved the fact I could come home and click on this thread to find out the vote.

Isn't this great! The GOP finally made the RATs put their money where their mouth is and almost all of them flinched. AWESOME!

When I saw my father in-law, the communist democrat, this evening, he was literally jumping up and down with excitement that the house was voting on a Republican sponsored bill to redraw from Iraq. Of course he went on and on about how incredibly good this was and tried to tell me that even the Republicans are against the war and this will definitely pass.

He then told me that any democrat who voted against this would now be the enemy and not be considered a Democrat by him every again. So I laughed at him and told him the Democrats didnt have the guts to back their words up with actions and the Republicans were just showing everybody just that and almost no Democrat would vote for it. I cant wait to shove this in his face tomorrow :-D

Call up your RAT FIL and tell him what the vote was.

Then tell him, "Welcome to the real world not the world of ABCNNBCBS/NY Slimes and the Compost.

I'm new here, so hello to all.

I have to admit that I'm shocked that the Republicans finally grew some balls and put the Democrats in their places today.

It was getting exceedingly old watching the Republican party, which used to be the party of change, become the party of pork and listening to the constant dribble for their mouths with little action.

This just shows what the Democrats are, a bunch of media whores. They claim to want immediate withdrawal and what happens instead? They retreat like roaches after a lights been turned on...
