A Letter of Disgust I sent Mike Barnicle 96.9 FM Boston (Iraq War)

Posted on 11/22/2005 10:19:01 PM PST by april15Bendovr

Just want to bring to you attention some names you used after 9/11 on the radio. You talked of John Vigiano a father of two that lost his sons John a fire fighter and Joe a police officer.

My question to you is "What happened to you?"

Do you even realize that most of these 9/11 family members that you felt proud to broadcast and associate yourself with are still strong supporters of our President and his leadership (including Iraq?) I would know because I met many of them as friends of my family.

Problem with this war is many things Republicans state on pre-war intelligence have a hard time resonating with the public because the mainstream media has a different agenda.

Its now becoming evident that you are apart of that agenda.

How could you consider yourself a journalist and ignore info on Salman Pak, Operation Able Danger, U.N. Resolution 1441 along with the Oil for Food Scandal? There are many ties to be found between Al Qaeda terrorism and Saddam if your not indoctrinated by the left. Although even Frontline at PBS has figured it out in their story "Gunning For Saddam."

I could send you many links including Stephen Hayes research but I doubt you would read it.

I was proud to listen to you as a fellow American supporting our heros after 9/11. Now it is clear that you have become more like a Machiavellian, Nevel Chamberlain type that think we can hold hands with terrorists and sing Kum Bi Ya.

It is an oxymoron to be against the war in Iraq while supporting our troops simultaneously but good luck trying. How is it going to feel knowing you could be on the wrong side of history?

I don't consider myself a great letter writer but I did want to share this with my fellow Freepers.

Good job! We need to keep it up. Because if WE don't, who will?

Your letter is adequate. Barnicle will be unfazed, however. I live up here in Massachusetts, and I assure you, it will be like water off of a duck's back to him.

He is a pompous, gaseous bag of hot air who likes the smarmy sound of his own voice. I find nothing redeeming about him.

But it is a good try.

It's in the trash. He'll never read it because, these types don't like to be wrong. Nice try though.

I agree that it will probably get dumped but I am going to continue every day till he does reads it.

I might even send it 10 times each day.

I might even ask for help and have my FReeper friends send it so it is under a different email address and flood his page.

His email is barnicle@969fmtalk.com

Good letter, maybe send a copy to the station management too. If there is a more boring talk show I have yet to hear it. I don't know how/why Barnicle and his idiot pals stay on the air.

I agree. I actually don't listen to his show anymore. I just got angry listening to a sound bite advertising his show criticizing Dennis Hastert.

Thank you for the compliment

This is the 3rd day I have emailed Mike Barnicle with this letter.

Still no response but I am not surprised as he is a coward.

If anyone would like to flood his mail by emailing this letter in my name please feel free.

Sorry my last comment was meant for all. I have a bad habit of sending message to myself when I am trying to reach everyone.
