Midway: Southwest Plane Crashes through fence.

A plane has apparently crashed through a fence at Midway airport in Chicago. Southwest airline 737 plane now sitting in intersection of 55th and Central. Channel 7 has confirmed, fire and ambulances on way. Details still sketchy.

Yeah, we have about 5 to 6 inches here. CLTV reporting plane is 737 sitting about halfway into street.

Hoping all are ok.
Used to work at Midway, fueling commercial and private aircraft. Southwest was one of our commercial accounts. During iffy weather the large planes often had trouble with Midways short runways.

Midway is an airport sitting right in the middle of a Chicago neighborhood. The runways are very close to 55th and Central.

A lot of snow here in Chicago tonight. I think more than was expected.
I believe 55th goes along the north side of Midway. There is a wall that runs along 55th, some of it chain link. Sounds like the jet skidded through the wall.
