CBS Thalia Assuras did a piece for The Early Show this morning concerning the domestic spying controversy (video link to follow). In it, she exclusively presented the views of Democrat members of Congress as well as a legal scholar who believes this program is illegal. Yet, she chose to not question any Republicans concerning this issue, or bring on a constitutional attorney with an opposing view. As a result, she presented a segment wherein Democrats and detractors of this program were seen countering each videotaped position the president made during his press conference yesterday. This gave the appearance that the president is on an island with nobody in Congress or in the legal community willing to defend this newly revealed covert program.
The first Democrat shown was Robert Byrd of West Virginia demonstrating on the floor of the House:

Did he use the N-word? Was he wearing his hood?
CBS would never question any of that!
Who watches CBS?
If the leftwing MSM presented a balanced it would expose their hypocracy.
Grass is green.
CBS's “Early Show” Presents Extremely One-Sided View of Domestic Spying.
This is news? ;)
"CBS...Keeping the sheeple dumbed-down for over half a century."
Next thing you know, Al Jezeera will say something anti-American...
Of course it's one sided: it's CBS.
This is the same outfit that believes burden of Journalistic integrity falls on the person being reported about to prove it isn't true.
How many citizens of the defunct USSR believed what Tass and Izvestia were reporting? The only reason I get the local paper is for local news and the sports section. For business and editorial opinion, I get the WSJ. For the rest, I count on the internet.
Why upset yourself by listening to the propaganda media? The effects could be insidious.
Why would anyone in their right mind watch the CBS Morning Show?
Good old Robert "I'm going to use that word" Byrd.
That's why they call ie SeeBS.
Hell, Billy Boy asserted his right to conduct no-warrant surveillance and no-warrant searches. You didn't hear the media piglets squealing then. No. Because Billy Boy was a liberal, see?
This is yet another media-contrived "scandal," delivered just in time to thwart another successful Iraqi election.
I'm curious about whether the Slickster wiretapped the Branch Davidian compound without a court order prior to the disastrous assault on it in 1993. We know he violated the Posse Comitas Act by using Army personnel and equipment in the final conflagration. His good buddy Weasley Clark was a general officer at Fort Hood and supplied the equipment and men. Not surprisingly, Weasley's career took a rapid turn upwards and he retired as a 4-star before the Slickster's second term ended.
I got the same impression from reading Joe Conason on another thread. This must be the Dim Desperate Tactic of the Week. "Bush is Isolated. He's the only one who wants to spy on Americans. Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah."

A dog bites man story. They are, after all scorpions and they do what scorpions do.
How about:
CBS's Early Show Presents Extremely One-Sided View
Did they show their own 60 minutes Report by Steve Croft on Project Echelon during 8 years of Klintoon that he authorized along with exec order of 2/9/95 that said warrantless searches were ok
