Poor management on the part of former governor Sundquist-R was the reason the state income tax issues came up Taxquist was with this like many other liberal issues obsessed with trying to push it through. So hey Lamar was the state income tax actually needed or where you just returning favors to friends by supporting it? Lamar is not now nor ever has been a Conservative.
Like I said before Bryant should have had Alexanders Senate Seat and George W Bush was one of the biggest reasons he didn't get it.

2. No, he's not. All Alexander had to do was enter the primary, and the seat was his. A former Governor, former Presidential candidate is going to beat a 4 term congressman every time.
