TV shows generally appeal to the ignorant slobs of America. Never forget that the crotch-grabbing pukish pig Roseanne had a #1 show. I'll watch a movie (assuming no Hollyweird freaks in it), sports and the Military Channel. Not much else quality, and never do I watch a series.

Buy a good video game for your PC or listen to some Aerosmith, AC/DC or Styx or something, or maybe have some sex with the spouse (not ranked in priority order). Anything but TV shows.

Come on... "TV generally appeals only to ignorant slobs? I might say the same thing about Rock music, and when I said that you'd think (rightly) that I was an ignorant idiot to condemn stuff I've admittedly not seen or heard enough to appreciate.

There's good stuff on TV. 24 is one... South Park (if you're not easily offended by vulgarity) is another. There's almost always Seinfeld episodes running somewhere and those are always good. Admittedly, other than those exceptions, you do have to wade through a lot of crap, it's not the ~genre~ that is flawed.
