Judges have gone insane and they should be institutionalized.
You post is very ironic insight to what used to happen to unwed teens. With these type of laws we are headed in a dangerous direction backwards. I used to work in a county ran nursing home. A sizable portion of the patients were simply women who in their youth had a child out of wedlock and their families with the help of the court placed them and child in many cases in mental institutions.
When the courts started tossing patients out of mental institutions they became wards of the state & were placed in nursing homes.
I don't think we need to return to those good old days that's for certain. The state was just as wrong on the matter then as it is now.
