While watching the Ohio State/Notre Dame game, I heard this story from the commentators. I've never been more proud of my Buckeyes.

Wow!! That is quite an impressive feat. Imagine...avoiding the barber for a few months. What sacrifice, what dedication, what nonesense.

Thats the beauty of our military and also what makes it as great as it is.

Everyone in uniform makes a decision and decides that's what they want.

I made the decision to join and I don't regret it for a second. I don't hold it against anyone who decides not to join, because I'll be the first to admit that it's not for everyone.

Those OSU linebackers that want to grow their hair in tribute to Pat Tillman? God Bless em.

Since the Buckeye team members could not have known they would be going to Arizona at the time they started to grow their hair, so the story about having done so to honor Tillman, who played for AZ, is not true. They grew it as a vow to beat Michigan. They may well have left it long to honor Tillman, but they did not grow it long for him.

In the last several years, we've seen the best and worst of Ohio State. Clarett was the worst.

[Monday Night Football intro music. Cue player intros.]

Maurice Clarett... THE Ohio State Penitentiary.

I heard this today and thought it was funny. I looked for a thread to put it on. (I like OSU, for the record-- Mike Vrabel '96.)

Cheers.

Maybe I am, too. I screwed it up some. Take 2:

Maurice Clarett... Halfback... THE Ohio State Penitentiary.
