As a parent of children in school I expect the unarmed children's safety to be first priority on the minds of LEO, as it was in this case.

Sorry for the dead boy but he made some bad choices that cost him his life.

My guess is that the boy actually wanted the police to kill him.

Which is pretty much how I feel about it, other than the fact that the cop should have shot him in the chest instead. But I want more information too. I want to hear about the civil court and everything and all the testimony from people before I rule out anything. I just got quirked at the whole statement about him having a gun at his head and then raising it. I find that interesting. But it could be an error on the part of the reporter, too, either intentional or not.
