Yeah, so what if the Dallas mayor is a Rat, don`t you see, that`s part of Rove`s plan. This way, Bush doesn`t get blamed.
My thought exactly TX. Can you imagine her telling Steve Wynn, no smoking in the casino?
She would come off as pretty hypocritcal if she allowed smoking...but, I know that a casino COULD build a separate smoking section...
which I guarantee would be the busy section of the casino.
I dare say, though, that she needs to do something to get convention business to come to Dallas...and since she screwed up on the Dallas Cowboys...this could redeem her.

Maybe if Dallas didn't keep giving away the farm to sports moguls they'd be in better shape. American Airlines Center being just the latest example, Ron Kirk's legacy.

Let's face it...Dallas ain't exactly a happenin' place. Personally I hate Casino's and think they cheapen the place. Let the riff-raff stay in Louseeeana. Texas should stay true to form and reject Casinos....This is the Lone Star State...not Vegas or Atlantic City.
I could see Galveston becoming an Atlantic City. As far as the riff raff, I hate to break it to you, but they are here thanks to Katrina and probably won't be going anywhere any time soon. I don't think Casinos will cheapen Dallas anymore than Fort Worth or the various Dallas Cowboys do...lol.
