Elections Canada ^ | N/A

Posted on 01/23/2006 8:03:44 AM PST by GreenLanternCorps

If JimRob, etc. approve this is the Live Thread for the Canadian General Election, on January 23rd, 2005.

We have a while to go before the returns start coming in, but I thought the thread needed to get up and running.

Neither do I. A shift toward more power at the provincial level is probably the most likely change, since that's really the one big area of common ground between the Conservatives and the Bloc Quebecois.

Print an X in a circle. One candidate per line, HUGE circles, with clear divisions.

CBC just called it a Conservative Minority Gov't.
Well, we hoped for a majority, but this is the 2nd best
outcome, so I guess we should not be too upset, eh?
