So you knew about these sites? I had no idea until now.

You posted from, Big Brother's Objectives, http://phpartners.org/hp/tobaccouse.html which is linked off of here: phpartners.org

Which is linked off of here:

September 2002:  The http://phpartners.org/hp/ Healthy People 2010 Information Access Project is a pilot project to make information and evidence-based strategies related to the Healthy People 2010 objectives easier to find.  The National Library of Medicine and the Public Health Foundation staff have worked together to develop pre-formulated search strategies for selected Healthy People 2010 focus areas. In addition, all focus area chapters have had direct PubMed search links created for references.

See what the header says?

A collaboration of U.S. government agencies, public health organizations and health sciences libraries

Actually, I think it is Hillary's Health Care project. I have found a number of university hospitals signed on this this and taking funding.

This initiative was stimulated by President Clinton's commitment to eliminate disparities in health for racial and ethnic minority populations by 2010.

DHHS OFFICE OF HEALTH PROMOTION AND DISEASE PREVENTION
AND THE HEALTHY PEOPLE 2010 INITIATIVE

(major snip)

Dr. Randy Wykoff, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health for Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, DHHS, presented an overview of Healthy People 2010, including the Leading Health Indicators, and possible ways to maximize this initiative. Healthy People 2010 is coordinated by the DHHS Office for Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.

Dr. Wykoff noted that Healthy People 2010 is a comprehensive set of national 10-year objectives that are developed through a collaborative process involving both the public and private sectors. All the objectives are specific and measurable over time based on data. The document, published and distributed by the Federal Government, also is a statistical description of the health status of Americans, including racial and ethnic disparities; a textbook on current public health priorities; and an important part of the national strategic plan for improving health. Healthy People 2010 is the third iteration of an effort that began in 1979 with publication of the Surgeon General's Report on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Ever larger and more complex, this iteration has two overarching goals, 28 focus areas, 467 objectives, and 10 leading health indicators.

"Increase the average Federal and State tax on tobacco products. (Objective 27-21)"

Otherwise known as perpetuating their no-heavy-lifting jobs.

Big Brother's Objectives

This stuff is downright sickening!  Well, I'm to old now to let them mold ME in the way they want me to go.  I guess our government will just have to shoot me.

I'm so sick of this Big Brother chit I can just scream.  And the lawmakers wondered why we don't trust them any longer.

I feel sorry for anyone under the age of 35 today.  They are in the midst of "Dumbing Down of America!"

I wish I could remember the saying that goes something like this - when they came for our (fill in the blank), I didn't mind cause I didn't have any. If anyone know this, I'd appreciate the entire quote.

Also brings to my mind another great saying that goes the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

So, does the university open all the data for collection? Or just the ones submitting an affidavit?

Big Brother may be partnering to get this data....

But don't lose site on the fact that it is going to data storage systems NOT OF THE USA!!!!

Maybe it is just me; but I find that worse!

And I dispute the good intentions.

I'm positive all 28 of those bullets listed is a red herring.

Absolutely no on can convince me that Robert Fourdraine of the Netherlands was concerned about whether there was a cookie or an apple in my kids lunch bag.

The (fill in the blank) program is a nice nice sell to get the data.

I had gone to that healthy people 2010 site and found a link for tracking people which I clicked. I got a blank page.

Hmmmmmmm

Now I've tried to find that link and I can't. Seemed so easy at first.

Why doesn't that surprise me!  In this day and age with so many "immigrants" moving into the United States, why doesn't this surprise me!

Hey Prairie,

Is this why the NAIS language uses the terms 'National Herd'?

>>>d) The Grantee shall not encumber, transfer or dispose of any property, equipment or other asset, or any part thereof, acquired wholly or in part with Grantor funds without the written consent of the Grantor,
(e) Grantees shall adequately control and safeguard all assets associated with the grant to ensure that they are used solely for authorized purposes,

Does this mean, when the grant money is used toward premise registration and tagging, that the animals and premises are no longer the producers? Hence now, 'Stakeholders'?

Animal Tagging and SCHOOL LUNCHES???

(snip)

What does School Lunches have to do with Animal Tracking?

They are both tracing back to:

Food Safety Network

The tracking methods of health and nutrition and animal tracking are both going to be using a Nationally Interactive Database.

Tracking Healthy People 2010

Both of these efforts claim to be a product of the:

Here in Pennsylvania, parents now get an "overweight" report card along with the grade report card at school.

Just a little reminder, if you will, that you child is on the hefty side and please try to watch his weight.

I give it a couple years and then the Child Protective Agencies will remove overweight children from their parents arms on the grounds of abuse.

The powers that be started this with good intentions. Oh my god, there are so many overweight children these days. Perhaps the poor parents can't afford a scale. Well, we will help them out and weigh their children at school!!! Let's all give ourselves a soft, caring, kindness pat on our backs for doing this. Wow, we all feel so much better about ourselves for being so empathetic.

Two years later - dang, these kids still don't look like the kids on Nickolodean - some of them are still overweight. Those parents don't care, they are neglecting them. Call CPS!!!!

Ever see a do-gooder program that was ever reversed, eliminated? No it gets more and more complicated, more governmental employees are hired and guess what - our taxes go up.

Same people who declare to the heavens that women have a right to their own body and to murder their unborn children find that it's different with everything else.

I'm getting on a rant and my blood pressure is rising now. I understand your point at disputing good intentions. I think alot of it is too dang many people with too much time on their hands and new computers.

What kind of future is it going to be for our kids?

Heard that kind of remark in 1970. Come to think of it, the same remark has been made probably all along through history. But, it does appear that dicey times are coming soon. Some say there are two rational approaches to the problem: optimism and pessimism. There may be a third way: call it what you want, but it amounts to keeping on keeping on.

That is one of the grant programs. Do that parents of those children know that data is being collected and given to this NGO database?

Animal Tagging and SCHOOL LUNCHES???

I am appalled.  Funny the MSM doesn't report on THIS junk, eh???

God only knows what is going on behind closed doors and behind our backs.  I guess they think we would never find this.

Like I've said before on the Puff Ping threads. Why doesn't anyone ever say when they go nonsmoking, there are grant entitlements from the Cigarette Restitution Fund.
