Matthews loves that “It depends on how how the question is asked.” line.

'Hardball's' credo is “It depends on which DNC, leftist-fantasy I shill tonight.”

No and any reputable breeder would not want one of his/her puppies to become a pet of Hilary's family. The Clinton's have a poor track record in the pet dept.
Their cocker spaniewl got hit by a car when Clinton was gov of Arkansas and the lab got hit by a car in NY. The cat was givien away when they left the WH. I think they use pets as props to portrayal themselves as a typical American family.

To understand the willingness to follow bizarre leadership at all costs, read Eric Hoffer's "The True Believer". Very cogent.

Bill seem to do him double talk with greater cover. Hillary just looks like she is all over the map. Bill planned his switching by qualifying his audience and what press was present at the time. Hillary just picks groups and talks. Her every word gets out. She is killing herself.

Your # 49... A Great Read!! I almost wish I'd seen the show, just to know what an Anne Kornblut looks like. (Or did she have her head stuck so deep in sand, you couldn't actually see her? )

Molly Ivins to Anne Kornblut = "I'd like to make it clear to the people who run the Democratic Party that I will not support Hillary Clinton for president. Enough. Enough triangulation, calculation and equivocation. Enough clever straddling, enough not offending anyone.."

It was surreal. I'll try to locate the video clip.

Kornblut is youngish. Her face, while not unattractive, is an incongruous mix of innocence and smirk.

Clinton: Cover employees
Senator pushes for Wal-Mart's contribution to workers' health plans, but is unclear whether she took that stand as retailer's board member

January 26, 2006

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton wants Wal-Mart to contribute to health insurance for its employees - but can't recall if she pushed for worker benefits during six years as a paid board member for the nation's largest retailer.

(snip)

Asked if she had advocated better benefits while serving as a board member with Arkansas-based Wal-Mart from 1986 to 1991, Clinton replied, "Well, you know, I, that was a long time ago ... have to remember," adding that "obviously I believe every company should" contribute to benefit plans.

(snip)

Hillary is Hysterical in the Wall Street Journal Box Score of her Congressional Travel Office Probe.

In her affidavit, the DNC declared Smartest Women in the WORLD said: “I do not recall”/”I cannot recall” 21 times “I do not believe” 9 times “I have no knowledge”/”I have no first-hand knowledge”/”I have no personal knowledge” 7 times “It is possible”/”It is quite possible that I had”/ “It is possible that I may have” 4 times “I simple don’t know”/”I don’t know”/ “I do not know how”/”I do not know what” 4 times “I believe” 3 times “I may have spoken” 3 times “I have no specific recollection” 2 times “I may have expressed the view” 2 times “I cannot identify” 2 times “I do not know for certain”/”I do not know how” 2 times............

I read that the chocolate lab Buddy was chosen for his photographic appeal. A black lab wouldn't photograph as well, and a golden would have been too photogenic and might have detracted from Bill Clinton. I also read that the name "Buddy" was selected by a committee, so much for the story of Clinton naming the dog after his uncle or whatever. Does anyone else remember reading this?
