Fumbling by the detectives, absence of evidence and speculation by the prosecution...... no wonder the jury let her go.

Conviction requires "proof beyond a reasonable doubt".

Police said she confessed... but can provide the confession and "lost" their notes. Defendant says no confession.

No body to support the claim that he died of a heart attack. So that is pure speculation.

If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at the Prosecution.

At FR, however, the presumption of innocence is only in place for those who are not "pervs", liberals, and/or Democrats.

I'm guessing that one of the detectives knew the lady quiet well...and just made sure that notes disappeared. This whole story has a funny smell to it...like politicians involved or such.
