Just remember...FOX panned a lot of the speeches during the campaign. They even panned Zell's speech. They were shocked at how well the country loved it. Their opinions are worthless to me, especially in election years. They go left always.
I had the same analysis -- DemocRATs oppose freedom.
This is one of the most enjoyable State of the Union speeches I have witnessed. I kept laughing when he got that twinkle in his eyes, with a smile on his face while looking at the DemocRATs because he zapped them every time.
Loved this speech and am going to be chuckling the rest of the evening!

Oh, it was a great night. We got to see Hillary grin like an idiot, and we saw the Democrats cheer for not reforming Social Security. It was worth it just for that.

Campbell Brown said she's never seen the president having to lobby his side so much before a speech but she says they are worried about his low poll numbers, the war, blah blah blah. Brown is in Statuary Hall waiting for the spinners on both sides, and she actually portrays the white house as being worrried about support from their own side. Definitely downer spin from Campbell!! Very transparent
