I'm trying to decide whether I will ever watch another NFL game. Right now, the only way I will is if the league announces tomorrow that every single zebra in this game is fired. With the emergence of NFL network taking some programming, this league looks more like "Rollerball" every day.

The point is, the hawks didn't play very well either.

They outplayed the Steelers, however. You reminded me of what might have been the dumbest quote I've ever heard that was uttered just before the game. They were interviewing Bill Belicheck. He said the team that plays better will win the game...he turned out to be wrong in addition to it being a lame thing to say.

The officiating was an embarrassment; the refs obviously were reading the papers, and knew who was supposed to win.

I'll agree with that. It's funny, but I see high school coaches with better time management skills than some of the pros. The end of the first half was awful. The bad officiating hurt the Hawks, but their time management at the end of the first half was awful.

A "Super" Bowl so bad that the Strolling Bones couldn't save it. ROTFL!! Asking for volunteers from the crowd to officiate the game was a really stupid idea. LOL!!!

I haven't heard so much whining since Election Night 2004. Are some of these Seattle fans really Teresa Heinz?

Pittsburgh won, deservedly.

The Seahawks dominated play in the first half but had a couple of critical penalties and failed to take advantage of opportunities. Also, Hasselbeck threw a couple of great passes - - but out of bounds. Game of inches.

Pittsburgh got better as the game progressed and even overcame a big interception of a lousy pass from Rothlisberger. The crew had the guts to try a couple of gadget plays and they worked. Cowers mixed it up and called a better game than Holmgren.

By the way, the refereeing was fine. They had the guts to uphold one call and overturn another on replay review - - they got the calls right.

Congratulations to the Steelers and their fans.
