1 Samuel 15:3 "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'"
Saul did everything except kill the livestock. And yet look what happened. The children in the Middle East are trained to hate and endorse violence from the cradle to the grave. Watch any documentary on Iran/Iraq/Syria/Saudi Arabia, etc and you'll see them brainwashed..rocking back and forth crosslegged while they chant verse after verse from the Koran for hours and hours on end.
You can bet they will harbor a lifelong grudge against the evil West (great Satan) for killing their parents, brothers, friends, etc etc. In any event, I agree 100% with your comments.
Use a little antibiotic against an infection and if it doesn't kill it, the infection will come back with a vengeance and be much harder to kill....Gulf War I taught us that when you strike at the king you must kill him or you will have to fight the same battle later....
Lots of good debates here, many different opinions, will we learn from history or repeat it? Which history?
