My daughter "adopted" a penguin for me, for Christmas.
I get an e-mail each week with pictures...He is named TUX..and lives on the Galapagos Islands...
She knows that I LOVE penguins, and have since I got a National Geographic Magazine with the picture of an Emporer Penguin on the front...
I even contacted the photographer that took the picture to see if I could get a print...it would have been $250...yikes!!

My buddy went to see it, and he's not a pervert. Well no more of a pervert than your average 21 year old male anyway. He said it was actually pretty good, and that Heath Ledger was great in it. I have a hard time believing he did a better job than Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but I'm not that interested in finding out either.
My son bought me Surround Sound for my 30" wide screen and I see no reason to go to the theater again.
I am half deaf but still feel the jets going left to right. Amazing technology today.
BTW, I am enjoying this Oscar show. Maybe National Lampoon could come up with a new cartoon called, "Boob vs Boob".
Dollar movies are an excellent idea--something we haven't done in a while. Last one we saw was Nemo.

These two are horribly irritating.
I just can't into the movie screen thingy anymore. I always seem to end up sitting next to a kid who is crying or talking or whatever... and then there's the idiot who can't turn off his cell phone... or the couple who won't stop talking...
What the heck are they talking about?

Movie popcorn is the world's best guilty pleasure. Just be sure not to let them put that "butter" on.
My husband just said the same thing and he's watching something else.
