I'm surprised at all the "Stewart's bombing" posts.

He didn't get a lot of laughs or applause...because he was skewering these prima donnas on live television and they didn't know how to respond!

"Tonight people can see all their favorite stars without contributing to the Democratic Party!".

"A lot of people say Hollywood is a cesspool of relativism and immorality...I don't have a joke here. I'm just telling you what people say."

No one should be surprised. Stewart walked into the utopia of liberalism and made fun of them. When the critics dump on him, he can say they're just sore because he told the truth about their strange little world out there.

But Jon's kinda got that Johnny Carson thing going for him, where he can slide by the bombing of his jokes and still look fairly suave.

But, isn't Jon Stewart a member of the Liberal Lunatics? So, he's not exactly skewering them - but poking fun at himself and others.

If it was Charlton Heston (speaking of that - did you see those pecs - I digress) making fun of the libbies - that would be different!

If Stewart wanted to be funny, he would have played the "gay cowboys eating pudding" line from South Park.
