He (Stewart) didn't get a lot of laughs or applause...because he was skewering these prima donnas on live television and they didn't know how to respond!

Absolutely correct. Stewart ripped the Hollyweird agenda to shreds. That's why the audience was the most uncomfortable one I ever saw.

Probable 75% of the viewing audience never got his subtle digs of Tinsel Town and his sly inside innuendos. They all want Red Skelton up there on that stage.

The only problem with Stewart is that he's better in a more intimate setting instead of the huge cavern he's in.

I thought he was more indirectly funny than hell......and he was hitting the right buttons with me.
