Last week, we asked all 55 Republican senators (via their press secretaries): Will you rule out voting this year for an immigration reform bill that converts illegal immigrants to legal guest workers without making them return to their home countries first?

I blame them for breaking our law and sucking the country dry with education, healthcare and other welfare freebies.
I would too.
Yes, but would you commit a crime by breaking and entering and then demanding to be taken care of from cradle to grave?
I call them every day!
PING...
Read the article...it has the list of who is for/against legalization, with pictures of each Senator..
The article also says it will keep updating the information.
"I call them every day!"
good for you VU4G10... unfortunately for me I don't have Republican senators... I am "blessed" with Feinstein and Boxer... Ugh.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
Justanobody... you kinda took me on for saying, "I don't blame them for coming... I would too"
Actually I don't blame them but I think the responisibility is with us on THIS SIDE of the border. We have to control our own borders and country. If we can't... they will (and have) come. If WE GIVE them FREE stuff (like you were whinin' about)... they'll take that too.

I'm hammering my worthless democrats over it too. (Lenin and Stabencow)
BTW, I was not whinin' - I was stating facts and bit@hin', not whinin'. Also, the free gifts WE give them, are not free to me.
I don't think this is going to get done.
BTW..I saw an article about this yesterday...and it said something about how the Judiciary Committee of the Senate has been working on this for a MONTH!!
WOW...a month---and I wonder out of that month, how many actual days/hours were involved??? LOL
When you have Hillary invoking Jesus in her campaigning, you KNOW it is gonna be a LOT of rhetoric, but not so much reform or passage of legislation.
Also...the House's bill is SO STRICT..that I don't think the Senate will ever be able to confer with them and come out with a bill anytime soon.
I can vouch for Just...she NEVER whines...she is truly a hard worker for our country.
"Also, the free gifts WE give them, are not free to me."
haha... now your talkin' I live in Cali and no one pays out the wazoo more than me. I just posted another post about needing a new FR POLL... please check it out.
thanks for creating the list... for those to lazy to read the article themselves. Please visit my post on needing a FR poll on border problems
Any immigration bill should also have a change to the definition of a US citizen. Changed to those legally in the country and have exclusions so that guest workers or migrant workers do not get citizenship because they dropped an anchor baby while they are here.
Status quo then. Keep playing footsie with the laws currently on the books. <sigh>
I thought for sure the rest of that sentence was going to say...but she sure does bit@h! LOL!
Thanks sleuth...nuance is certainly not in my vocabulary! ;*)
" Status quo then"
Yeah... if we don't watch out the Republicans themselves will try and "dupe" us with the appearance that they are doing something. The White House, both houses of congress, court... NO MORE EXCUSES !
Yeppers...footsie is right...but unfortunately, even the laws we do have already aren't being utilized like they should be....because the ACLU..and other "human rights" groups are down there giving heck to anyone that wants to deport an illegal.
