LIVE THREAD: French Riots
April 4, 2006 | FR

Posted on 04/04/2006 10:33:28 AM PDT by Peach

Post your observations here.

Richard Miniter was on FNC and said that even if an employee is caught on videotape stealing from their employers, they cannot be fired.

Youths stand behind a fire after a demonstration in Rennes, western France, Tuesday, April 4, 2006. Hundreds of thousands of protesters marched through cities around France, hoping to make their biggest show of strength yet to demand the repeal of a job law that has divided the country, known as CPE, and which would make it easier for employers to fire young workers.(AP Photo / Vincent Michel)

Note the exacte same Che picture as in the US illegal demonstrations.

Makes ya think the same orgs are behind both scenes, doesn't it?

This isn't aggression any more than what happened at Abu Graib was torture. Arg.

My word, people "erupted?" Sounds painful.

It seems France has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Well, they asked for it.

Now, what are we going to do about all of this immigration business? I hope we don't reward law-breakers with de facto citizenship.

French wine sales are down; tourism to follow. No jobs to be fired FROM.

LOL - Even threads about French riots have morph to become illegal immigrant threads. I LOVE FR!!!

COMMENT:

As well they should.

Immigration is the number one domestic and maybe the most devastating priority to face Americans.

What is happening in France is a mirror of what can and probably will happen right her in LA LA land.

For anyone to think otherwise has their heads buried up their rumps.

I was buying Australian wine too and recently started buying some Chilean wines and they're good. My stepbrother bought us a bottle of French champagne, Perrier Jouet, for our anniversary, and I could have strangled him :-)

If they'd just blow a few of these morons away, the rest of the troublemakers would run for the hills.

The appeasement being practiced by the French is the role model for our own Senate re recent "demonstrations" here.

Wow, did you ever nail it, well said Enchiladita.

It isn't being fired when you lose your job because the factory/business closes.

"At least France didn't have the invader's flag flying over their schools..."

It's not like a flag can do bodily harm. The French banned head scarves and STILL they can't control their country.

The people protesting in France I wouldn't call rich. They started off in France doing what the Mexicans do here. Cheap labor the lazy Rich French wouldn't do. Now those immigrants are demanding rights like the ILLEGAL immigrants in this country are.

Well, McPain said today that they don't have the votes for amnesty. That's good to hear but who knows what they'll dish out next.
