The Muslims circumcize males babies. Unfortunately, some do it to females is well, which really is barbaric genital mutilation.

On the day I was born, the nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder, at the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up, and she said leave this one alone
She could tell right away, that I was bad to the bone

I scared them, they acted out of fear

penile hygiene

working with developmentally disabled men in personal hygiene is a whole lot easier when the men have had a circumcision.

I know personally 3 men who were "cut" at some point after their late 20s, all had trauma that required it to go. Two were sports related(a cup that caught it and damaged). The other guy nearly lost it all when a retaining bolt on a metal press arm let loose and got him on the left leg and crotch. To a man they claim it isn't as good. I have no frame of reference. I would have preferred a choice.

If women were getting circumcised for no good reason

Would you care to explain that procedure?

I would have thought that this is practiced in Israel. Is that not true, or is Israel not considered a country?

It's all about reading comprehension:

"The U.S. stands alone as the only country in the world (including developed, developing and undeveloped countries) where neonatal nonreligious circumcision is routine for physicians and their unwitting patients"

(1)Having done a urology rotation, I was amazed at the number of adult problems in uncircumcised males, and how often an adult circ was needed.

(2) Smegma.

The anti-male feminists of the United Nations unsurprisingly push circumcision as a panacea.

Where? The UN website says

UN agencies are calling for caution in response to findings that circumcision could be effective in reducing the risk of HIV infection among men.

Those findings were presented yesterday at an AIDS conference in Brazil. The Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) – in collaboration with the World Health Organization, the UN Population Fund and the UN Children’s Fund – says that more research is needed, and that even if the findings are confirmed, it will not mean that men will be able to prevent HIV infection through circumcision alone.

It's the stuff of hate-my-parents teenagers who know everything, yet themselves are thoroughly addicted to Prozac, lithium, and therapists.

Trust me, I have been accused of misogyny more than most people have. If I really thought there was a problem with circumcision, I would probably see it. But it's all good, IMO.
