Protestors were greeted to the sounds of "God Bless America" and "They're Coming to America" as the front lines of the march reached Dallas City Hall plaza around 1:30 p.m. At 12:52 p.m., thousands wearing white began the march early from the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe to Dallas City Hall chanting and waving American flags. The protestors were encouraged to wear white as a symbol of peace. A large law enforcement presence was at the rally with about 550 Dallas police officers and 200 sheriff's deputies present. George P. Bush, the nephew of President George W. Bush, was among several scheduled to speak at the rally. Earlier participants started the day at the Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe for the traditional Palm Sunday mass.

"My father was born in Mexico," said marcher Mary Gonzales. "He came here. He became a citizen and joined the army. He fought in the war. And I am proud to have become an American citizen, and I want everyone to be able to have the right to do that." Don't think we have room for everyone.
Our politicians are going to cave on this issue. IMHO, we can shut up and take it, have a war or make Mexico's invasion backfire. Mexicans in America should be taught how little Mexican power holders care for them. The U.S. needs to overthrow Mexico by using those it sent to invade us. We should take it over and make two new states. North and South Mexico.
