Protestors were greeted to the sounds of "God Bless America" and "They're Coming to America" as the front lines of the march reached Dallas City Hall plaza around 1:30 p.m. At 12:52 p.m., thousands wearing white began the march early from the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe to Dallas City Hall chanting and waving American flags. The protestors were encouraged to wear white as a symbol of peace. A large law enforcement presence was at the rally with about 550 Dallas police officers and 200 sheriff's deputies present. George P. Bush, the nephew of President George W. Bush, was among several scheduled to speak at the rally. Earlier participants started the day at the Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe for the traditional Palm Sunday mass.

IMHO: Regan gave amnesty to 4 million, and we get 12 million more. What part of "If you forget history, you're doomed to repeat it..." do they not get????

It's all BS. Americans can see through it. American flags today ... Reconquista tomorrow !

The President should think of the Law of Unintended consequences. If he continues to support citizenship for people who have violated our immigration laws he will surely lose the support of his base and risk the progress made in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Democrats will smell blood and will do everything possible to unravel the War on Islamic Terror just to gain political power.

This rally affects my family personally. They kept us from getting to church this morning. The police warned us not to park on the street for fear of vandalism and we realized we be stuck in traffic for hours if we went down there.

Their first amendment right to assemble and speak interfered with my first amendment right to practice my religion.

Wait a minute . . . they don't HAVE first amendment rights because they are illegal.

These folks aren't as smart as most parasites in the animal kingdom.
They didn't put on their disguise when they first appeared

Like I said many times about the illegal situation; It is too little too late. I hate to agree with someone like RINO Mike Bloomberg, but like he said, to deport 12 million illegals would not only be impossible, it would absolutely devastate the economy if you could do it. Here in NYC, the amount of businesses that run on illegals is mindblowing, it would just blow a major hole in the economy.

To me the only answer is to annex Mexico, make it something on the level of Puerto Rico, a commonwealth. I mean we are not talking about a country that produces cheese eating pond scum like France, this is a country that produces hardworking people of faith. I would not be against that in the least. Plus if we did, the border would then be reduced to a 3rd of the size to that of Guatemala. To me it just seems like the only solution and a better deal for everyone involved. I mean for shiets sake, DC is a commonwealth and look what that produces? Re-elected crack smoking Mayors and multiple homocides that the media ignores. Who needs it? Put a fence around DC instead, move the White House to Texas.

Bush's Nephew Rips Armed Border Guards (Pepperball guns) Duluth Superior ^ | 8/21/2004 | Mark Stevenson

Posted on 08/21/2004 5:08:47 PM PDT by 4.1O dana super trac pak

MEXICO CITY - President Bush's nephew, campaigning for overseas votes in Mexico on Saturday, called the federal policy of arming U.S. Border Patrol agents with plastic pellet guns "reprehensible."

Speaking in a mix of English and sometimes-halting Spanish, George P. Bush said his uncle was not to blame for the gun policy, which has angered Mexicans. He instead blamed it on "some local INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) guy who's trying to be tough, act macho."

"If there has been American approval for this policy, that is reprehensible," Bush said of the guns, essentially paintball projectiles filled with chile powder. "It's kind of barbarous."

Keep protesting. They're bringing this issue to the front burner where it belongs, and demonstrating on which side of the debate they truly stand: Mexico.

I just learned today (or was reminded) that Reagan gave amnesty to illegals. I'm still stunned. How can we allow ourselves to be so misled, even by the greatest of us?
