There's a lot of truth in the old saying, "Sooner or later, you get the face you deserve".

he actually wrote a song after 9-11 called "Let's Roll" as a tribute to the heroic man ....

Todd Beamer was the man's name.

But remember, EVERYBODY was a 'patriot' in the days following 9/11. Even the America hating leftists gave positive lip service to the strength and direction of President Bush.

For a few months.

Until they realized that being a salt-of-the-earth American meant that we could no longer just didn't sit on our hands playing pud pud pokeman.

Then they reverted right back to their lib suicidal ways, leaving the real work of Freedom to the righteous right wingers.

I liked Everybody Knows this in Nowhere, After the Gold Rush, but I don't really like Harvest that much. Only a couple of good songs on that one. I agree After the Gold Rush is a work of art and I never get tired of that one, however, he has not done anything worth a dern since the early 70s.

That being said, he should shut up and sing.

It's time that AC/DC come back with more anti-big government, anti-democrat songs. And Ted Nugent...Kid Rock...Alice Cooper.

Neil Young and Ronnie Van Zandt became great friends who loved and respected one another.

If you are going to rely on song lyrics, you should check out "Ronnie and Neil" by the Drive-By Truckers.

My pet peeve is idiot yankees and others who like to stereotype ALL Southerners as racists, especially the movie and music industry.

And MY pet peeve is Southerners who like to stereotype Yankees as "idiots".

Practice what you preach.

I would like to amend that song...

Tin soldiers and Nixon's comin,'
We're finally on our own,
This summer I hear the drummin'
Four dead in Ohio
By moonbats who were
stupid enough to throw rocks, bottles,
and tear gas cannisters at cornered armed National guards.

How famous can a sports writer in Canada be? What the Color guy for Curling? Nice to see his son stayed out of Rehab long enough to make another protest album.

I'm saying that those lyrics summed up how I feel about Neil Young.

Too easy.

Neil Young is so "Down By The River" he should jump in.

A local Radio Station sponsored an appearance here last year, they lost $15,000. Had to give tons of tickets away to make it look good.

My favorite by Young is "Gonna Give You Til the Morning Comes." It's not really a whole song. Brings back some good memories. Too bad he's a schmuck.

Harvest Moon is pretty sweet. And I like the message of Needle and the Damage Done.
