That image is about 20 years old. The local papers carried a photo of her destroying the crosses. She has put on at least 70 pounds since her "red dress" days.

" I did, outside of class during the break, invite students to express their freedom-of-speech rights to destroy the display if they wished to"

That's funny, my copy of the First Amendment doesn't say anything about the right to destroy other peoples property, if it makes me angry. The Supreme Court says it is OK to burn YOUR flag, but you still can't burn MY flag.

yet if someone vandalized one of the cross displays set up by war protesters to supposedly honor the fallen, she would be outraged.

Any violence perpetrated...was minor compared to how I felt...

Yep. A lot of violence has been rationalized under those terms for a lot of years...

Meh... I pulled it off of Image Google, which pulled it off of NCU's website. Someone here is looking for a current image. Maybe we'll get a mugshot in a few weeks?

I thought her actions more along the line of the Nazis when they vandalized all of the home and businesses of the Jews.

FWIW, the swastika has historically been frequently referred to as the broken or crooked cross. The cross is an ancient pre-Christian symbol, and the swastika is just a variant of it.

It had no particularly racist or genocidal connotations before the 1920s.

“Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it. Some of my students felt the same way, just outraged,” Jacobsen said.

How typical of the entrenched leftwing a-hole: Feeeeelings trump civilized rules of conduct--just so long as it is the crackpot's feelings and not those of some normal human being, who can expect to get it in the neck for even thinking of doing such an act.

I report, you decide.

Know why womens' basketball is faster-paced than mens' basketball?

No "loose ball" fouls.

Pulling up the crosses was similar to citizens taking down Nazi displays on Fountain Square, she said.

What a demented, evil mind.

Good one, but it contradicts this joke...

Why are WNBA stars not allowed to wear mini-skirts?

Because their b@lls hang out.

I would guess this so-called Prof was incited to attack based on feelings of personal guilt for a procedure she participated in on another day.
