Yesterday, there was a Chicano Park celebration in San Diego attended by thousands.

Not much different than the marches and rallies we've witnessed by illegals over the past weeks.

These photos are just a window into the goals and mindset of the Mexicans and others who are currently invading the American Southwest.

They are taking back what they claim is theirs. You be the judge.

Do you want maybe 100 million folks like this living amongst us in a generation clamoring for the same nonsense?

According to most polls including those on this Forum, most Americans do not want this.

Great pics, but I am not sure how they further the debate on how to deal with it all, in the public square. In fact, I don't think it has much meaning. I don't think most illegals want California to become Baja North. I don't think that is the issue. The issue is about demograhics, age cohorts, disparate economies, assimlation, the viablity of the notion of true "guest" worker, and choices about wealth versus ethnicity. None of it is simple, none of it easy, and the choices all painful. Thus don't count on anything intelligent coming down from inside the Beltway. That place does not make tough choices, except in extremis.
