Sure it's extortion. But I guarantee the Florida DA spent far more than $30k trying to bring Rush down. And, they lost....big time.

Rush pays more than Sandy Burglar. I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for either the federal Department of Justice or the State of Florida prosecutors. None, zero, nada.
And I was a prosecutor for 14 years.

A spokesman for Rush Limbaugh said some news reports that state Mr. Limbaugh was arrested are inaccurate. A spokesman for President Bush said that some news reports claiming that Tuesdays in Boise are usually sunny are inacccurate. The ultimate in word parsing. It does not say why they are inaccurate. Was Rush photographed just for the hell of it?

Drive-By Media is just getting beyond ridiculous.. scumbags. No wonder when the people tire of the corrupt system, the first ones to be hanged are the Journalists themselves

THE ONLY reason this went this far is because it's Rush, a conservative.
You got it there.
When's Whitney Houston's trial? Kate Moss? Matthew McConaughey?

"...which was really more of a booking session that did not put Limbaugh into handcuffs or any jail ... Jeffrey Toobin soon told anchor Wold Blitzer by phone that the winner here is very clear: Rush Limbaugh."
Thank you for posting this excerpt. This sounds a whole lot better than what was being said on T.V.

Well, if it came from a press release issued by Rush Limbaugh's attorney, it has to be accurate.
LOL!
I have no doubt that Rush's attorney is biased -- too!
Still, I would rather trust Rush's attorney than the "Drive By Media" -- particularly to provide some BALANCE to this rapidly breaking story, since as they say:
"A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on."

Michael Wiener will be deeply saddened to learn this. All through his rants he's been calling Rush "Hush Bimbo."

FYI Palm Beach county FL is the home of the outrageous tobacco litigation and is one of the two worst courts for outragous lawsuits in the country.

Just heard Savage on tape delay. He said he was saddened but not surprised. For a guy with 24 best-sellers and several advanced degrees he seems entirely too much into feelings and less into reason. Not quite gleeful. Yes, ill-concealed glee.
