Karenna Gore is still mad at you
New York Post ^ | May 1, 2006 | Page Six

AL Gore bumped into Avenue magazine editorial director Pamela Gross the other day at the Regency, where she told him his daughter will be on the May cover. Karenna told Avenue that during the Florida recount in 2000, "the rancor was overwhelming at times . . . There was this horrible mob outside the vice president's house that was recruited by political operatives. They just kept yelling, 'Get out of [Dick] Cheney's house.' That was really painful and rude."

> believe me...they heard us chanting "Get out of Cheney's House!"

And here is confirmation from Karenna herself. You thugs should be proud of youselves :-)

I was very pained when the nuns and monks were forced to donate to the Gore election. I was really pained and felt VP Gore lied about donations. I became really upset when Maria Hsia was convicted of felonies and your Pop Gore watched from the sidelines. By the way, where is that Hsia woman? I bet she never served one day in jail for her conviction. Maybe the so important daughter of Gore could tell us why 100 + donors left America and refused to testify before congress regarding donations made from foreign sources via strawmen and women?

Maybe the daughter of Gore could explain why her father and his boss sat on their hands while terrorists murdered Americans at home and abroad? She is fortunate to have her father walking around and not in jail.

Karenna Gore's account on 20/20 of whether Dad called the AFL-CIO President to get more Gore "supporters" on the corner one day is at odds Marc Fischer's account in the Washington Post.

The Gore kid lies...

Karrena is either dumb as a stump or lying.

The DC Chapter of FR started that and when it was mentioned on the radio, people poured out.

She'll make a good DemocRAT, she lies so easily.

Karrena is either dumb as a stump or lying.

Don't try to put limits on her. She can be both at once.

Oh, what fun flashbacks!

Wasn't there one Gore interview or speech where the chanters could be heard outside? I thought I remembered that.

I was in Pensacola protesting their efforts to throw out military ballots. One of my favorite chants was the one borrowed from THEIR old hippie days: "The Whole World is Watching!". Anyway, for old times' sake:

or in Britain, a 'orrible mob...

Only lefties are allowed to protest, you see. When they do it it's noble.

I guess Karenna missed the sense of humor gene that her sister Kristin (a writer for Futurama) got. After all, if a bunch of people had shown up at the VP's residence in November of '04 chanting, "Get out of John Edward's house," I would have thought they were stupid, but I probably would have thought it was funny.

Actually, those are KERRY'S daughters. ** Whoops. ** < |:P~

But the story was that Kerry's daughters showed up on stage at some MTV Spirited Yoot Music Rally Thing and were roundly booed for politicizing the event with their presence.

That photo is of them shhhhhing the crowd.

When Freepers protest, they only "raise a fuss".

FYI..from page 135 of Bill Sammon's marvelous book on the 2000 race; "At Any Cost: How Al Gore Tried To Steal the election....

".....he (Gore) feared he would take a shellacking in the court of public opinion by posthumously railing against a bona fide, certified, official winner. Already his Gore-Lieberman campaign signs had been morphed into "Sore Loserman" signs that seemed to be multiplying like mushrooms. Republicans, never much at protesting, had set up camp across the street from the Naval Observatory. Day and night, they shouted, "Get out of Cheney's house!" so loudly that it could be heard inside Gore's high command. At one point Gore became so rattled that he ordered his aides to have AFL-CIO President John Sweeney round up some countrer-demonstrators. But Sweeney was nowhere to be found."

She's just mad because she thinks if her dad had been president, he might not be insane now.

I am totally serial.

Here's a column Ms. Gore would probably like, which I wrote in December of 2000. I hope it's not too painful and rude for her.

Ballot Counting Coup
December 2, 2000

Even though we need truth and objectivity during the 2000 election season, I can't be too hard on the media for their reticence about the big, braying donkey in the living room. After all, imagine what life would be like for the first journalist to break ranks and say, "Well, it looks like Al Gore might be trying to steal this election." I don't think their career prospects would be very stellar after that; not because of media bias necessarily, but because you need to be on a firm foundation when hinting that the Vice President of the United States might be involved in a power grab. The bold journalist in question would be lucky to avoid spending the rest of their career saying "Dateline: McDonald's. Do you want fries with that?"

The problem is, few journalists are even displaying the healthy suspicion of Gore's motives (and Bush's) that they should be. Not surprisingly, the actions of the number two man in the Most Ethical Administration In HistoryTM give us plenty to be suspicious of. The Vice President and his supporters have repeatedly told us that their desire is simply a fair and accurate count of every vote. Consider then, this list of things that must be true (or at least, believed by them) if the current counting methods and the further counts they advocate are truly fair, full and accurate.

Believing all this, or believing that anyone as intelligent as Gore and Lieberman believe it all with the firm conviction they project is tough stuff. I submit that when one considers all this, only two possibilities remain: Either Mr. Gore is knowingly engaging in vote theft, or (more likely) he is just plain sure he really won Florida, and he's now willing to engage in any Machiavellian scheme needed to make the count suit him. No matter which is true, Mr. Gore has not been looking for fairness; he has been looking for votes that were never cast. More recounts cannot make him the winner; he can only be named President. This Counting Coup must come to an end, for the wheel has turned... and it is time for him to go.
