Finding bin Laden or Zarqawi, well that would be nice, but likely would change little. The terrorists are an ideology, not a person.

Great point. This administration has been terrible at pointing out the many successes in the WOT. The fact is bloggers have had to fill in the void and try to educate the public about what is going on.

I hope Tony Snow sees this as a priority. Why not start each press conference by saying "12 new schools opened in Afghanistan this week" or "145 terrorists were killed/apprehended in Iraq this week"?

Why would our troops in Afghanistan be looking for OBL? Hes obviously not in Afghanistan anymore. He's probably in Pakistan.

Who cares about that. Bush should give a real speech about the actually capabilities the Iraqi Insurgency and Al Qaida have. Then say what we are doing about it. All we get from the media is stupid useless information about attacks and poorly named Operations that seemingly have no affect. Give us some real info on how the WOT is going.

Oh, for goodness sake. Do you think we AREN'T looking for him in Pakistan, and leaning on Musharrif to do it as well? We have rewards out, people combing those mountains, drone spy planes, Special Forces, etc. etc.

Peggy Noonan apparently thinks Preisdent Bush can't find Osama because he isn't really trying.

FoxNews poll showed the no. 1 concern is the economy, I forgot the no. 2, Iraq was no 3, and illegal immigration was no.4.

But at the same time, people aren't giving President Bush credit for the great economy.

We are leaning on Musharrif but this falls into the same stupid strategy we used in Afghanistan. Use foreign soldiers as mercenaries to do what our soldiers do better. If we had just used 30 thousands marines in Afghanistan we would have caught OBL in Tora Bora.

If I were Bush I'd notify Special Ops teams are going to cross into his territory and that he wasn't going to stop us. I don't think they are currently. There is no reason our military can't find Bin Laden.
