Neil Young, Chili Peppers, Flaming Lips, many others, nobody, not one of these "artistes" speaks of artistic ideas, concepts, as the '50s, '70s rockers once did or attempted to. Perhaps in the 3 chord post-art-rock world there aren't any, any more. (Tell that to Paul McCartney or Elvis Costello, though.)
