Makeovers ain't gonna help.
Fast food in nice sometimes, but I DON'T LIKE McDonalds food. The only thing that brings me in there is the playplace for my daughters ages 6 and 4. Otherwise, if I want a "fast" burger, I prefer Wendys, Burger King, or almost anything EXCEPT McDonalds.

I'm with you. I always despised McD burgers. Worst on the planet. Now that I can't eat wheat, rye, or barley anyway because of an autoimmune condition, my favorite is the Hardee's low-carb Thickburger.

Here in L.A., when I want a burger (which is rare), I have amazing choices besides the ubiquitous chains: Carl's Jr., Tommy's, In-n-Out, Whataburger, Fatburger.

But every once in a while, I get a hankering, almost a craving, for a Big Mac or a Quarter Lber with Cheese. I don't know why, I didn't eat McDonalds when I grew up (we couldn't afford fast food), so it isn't some sort of childhood attachment.

They just taste good, in a strange way.
