The truth of the matter is that the wisest, most educated, and thoughtful members of this forum are both male and female.

The same is true for those who lose emotional control, and feel a lot more than they think. LOTS of macho guys lose their cool all the time around here. Got to get those hormones under control, ya know?? ;)

The most Latino county in Texas is Starr County at 97.5% according to the Census Bureau. It's vote in 2004 was 73.60% for Kerry and 26.09% for Bush, and as we know Bush did exceptionally well among Latinos, especially in his home state of Texas, getting about twice as much of the vote as the GOP usually gets. In the 2000 election, Starr County gave Bush just 22.58% of the vote.

We don't have 'shifts'. There are times for some mods that work better for them. We have a couple night owls, some early birds, but that's not set in stone. It's whenever we have time. I was here this am, but had work to do. See, most of us do have a life outside FR.

I'd take a rino over Kohl or feingold in a heartbeat. At least there's hope for change. With a dem, you're going to get exactly what it is, liberal feel good, to hell with the constitution politician.

Does that mean you disagree with PD's position on taking out Chafee in the primaries risking a Dem in office?

Dog, there was a thread on Chafee's primary challenger here recently, and you should have seen the moaning and crying about Chafee's possible demise.

It wasn't just one or two Freepers, SEVERAL were agreeing that "Chafee is better than any Dem!!"

Good luck on your primary plan though. Just realise you'll be fighting more than just the party PTBs in that arena.

The intent of your OP got lost in 1800+ posts. Let me congratulate you on an excellent post (and your anniversary).

Yesterday, I made a post that basically said that while I agree with the issues (for the most part) of the border bots, their spokespeople are HORRIBLE, and most of the time I don't want to admit I'm on their side. They're all Patrick Henrys and no Jeffersons. If I see another post with single word sentences or sentence fragments ending with exclamation points, I'll scream. Except for a few (Spiff, Vicomte13), most of them come across as pitchforkers. All heat and no light.

Hopefully the cooler heads will rise to the top and become the face for the border control movement.
