Consider that for some people they could end up with the best of both worlds: a border wall AND teaching the GOP a lesson. Think how pleased they will be when the Democrat Congress gives them the bill for the wall.

Have you checked the vote returns for the heavily Latino South Texas counties and precincts?? Do it whenever you're ready for a rude awakening..

PD lives in San Diego, but he's not a California native, so he doesn't have a reference point as to how this state operated before it became 50% Latino and the Dems took over every office except Gov.

But here's a little irony: the Sunday LA Times magazine had an article profiling how liberal WestLA Jews are losing control of the Calif Dem party to blue-collar Hispanics. They even had quotes from contested primaries where the 'new' natives didn't think the 'old' reps were "their people".

So it's not just conservatives who will lose out under amnesty; our counterparts on the left will be shoved out of their own party as well.

True, but considering that their logistical support bases are in Canada, the fact that the Canadian border is far more open then the Mexican border, and our national emphasis is being focused to the south...they would have to be fools to not exploit the situation.

Honestly, I'm not worried about Chaffee. We're working on getting rid of Kohl this fall. If Tommy Thompson runs, we might have a chance. Kohl is a gazillionaire, and rarely uses contributions, in other words, his campaign is funded by his personal money. I'd take a moderate over gayboy kohl, and for sure, a moderate over feingold. At least with a moderate, you have a fighting chance. Of course, I'd like a conservative, but, the status quo is ingrained, and it's going to take many years to undo the 60+ some years the dems have wrecked this country. We're slowly making progress. But, isn't that what the founding fathers wanted? A slow, tedious process to avoid dictatorship, or a monarchy? Or every four years, instant policy changes? Think about this.... If we can take 4 or 8 years to redefine this country, so can the libs.
