As Gump would say, "it" happens.

Buh, bye, troll. Hope you enjoy what you get from Majority Leader Reid, Speaker Pelosi and their committee chairs.

Have you noticed that since Bush is taking action on immigration, the media is suddenly "against him taking action"?

Proves that whatever he does, the media is anti. They also want to use immigration in the upcoming elections and want no action - so there will be no immigration reform period.

You simply made a statement you admit you have no proof of. Great going there.

I shouldn't have to "Get over it". You're supposed to be impartial. How can you moderate a board fairly when you have clearly supported one side over the other?

I have major guilt that I helped elect Bill Clinton.

If you voted for the person you thought best represented your position then you have nothing to feel guilty about. If you feel your vision was clouded then it is a different story.

I will never, EVER again work against the GOP if it means that another stinkin Democrat might run this country.

Please keep in mind that alot of our older generation cast their votes based on what they think the Democrats stand for. I mean to say, that, what the democrats used to stand for is not anything close to what they push as an agenda today and the older folks really do not understand what it is they are actually voting for. If they knew what today's Democrats stood for I highly doubt they cast their votes as they do.

Decades ago, many folks made the same swearing you just did towards the Democrats for their dedication to the working man and against those dirty rich republicans that only seek to steal the profits from labor. Just please be careful that you do not fall into the same trap that they did because that trap almost elected John Kerry.

I hope that is sufficient explanation for my philosophy.

DITTO.

Though voting in Taipei, I knew which way my State (Wash) was going to go at the time anyway. That is, I knew my vote would not make any difference because of the polls showing such a wide margin.

But I had no knowledge of Perot's meeting with Billdo Klintoon and his hostility toward Bush. I just felt he was strong on the military and NOT PART OF THE DC TRAITOROUS CLIQUE. I felt Bush Sr was less than patriotic and deserved at least a good slap on the hand.

But the resulting placement of Clinton in power shredded all the above considerations.

NEVER AGAIN.

So did I. There were too many to have been just conservatives unhappy with the issue under discussion.

I'm on board, Pukin. Always have been. Thank goodness for those of us who have the ability to disagree with the President on certain issues and still support him overall. Conservatives don't exhibit the rhetoric and foul behavior that has gone on here lately. It's unseemly liberal behavior and quite telling about a posters real motives.

And don't forget FReeper Tony Snow, now WH Press Secretary! And jveritas and all his hard work!!
FR is a wonderful place and I won't stand by the let the varmints and opinion shapers run it straight into the ground.

The President has outlined a starting place on immigration. It's more than any president since Carter or even Kennedy ever did about illegal immigration. Yet that isn't enough for those who insist on nothing less than mass internment and deportation. And do the pious ones ever criticize congress and the courts for their roles in the illiegal immigation situation over the years to the extent they criticize President Bush? HELL NO!

I'm sick to death of the whole lot of them.

Perot supporters are responsible for Bill Clinton.

I agree with much of what you have said this morning (if not the manner in which you've said it) but quite frankly, H.W. Buch was responsible for Perot supporters BEING Perot supporters
