I guess you think illegals only cross the Mexico California border. Ever been to El Paso, Texas? California is one of the few western states that repeatedly votes to compound its own problems. If you are really suffering alone, it is because everyone else is too busy trying to clean the problem up.
Like when we passed Prop 187, which made all law enforcement officers check immigration status, and denied ALL benefits to illegal immigrants a FULL TWELVE YEARS AGO! Long before illegal immigration was a blip any other state's radar.
As I recall a Federal judge struck it down. Please spare me the California bashing. The President got more votes from here then from any other state, and the Republican party gets the vast majority of its money from here. Not to mention it's the home of this website.
