we had 3 very strong conservatives running for the Cunningham seat - and they were all rejected

Cunningham has a machine that works well. To upset that... You have a lot of work to do. You need local ground support. Pick ONE candidate that is not a RINO.

We took out an incumbent during the primary. But it cost a lot of money. I donated the max, and had a bunch of friends that did.

We worked the door-to-door media to death. Put out signs. Paid for lawyers when our signs were taken down by the local pols.

CAMPAIGN. It is a word with a meaning. It used to mean blood and treasure. These days, it mostly means treasure.

And if you want to make a change, you have to pay for it. Every bit is expensive, and frustrating.

Learn to love it. Work hard to change it.

LOL...What I do with signs (since most are stolen after dark) is put them on the steep hill by the road in front of my property, then I dump manure all around them and down the hill in front of them.( hog is best, but any on hand will work).

I have went out in the morning to see slide marks down the hill, and the sign was still there.
