Your are correct, I mispoke myself the GOP is splite into two camps, the two camps are still defining themselves but one camp is clearly more pragmatic(and wrong) the the other camp is more princibled (and right). How it all ends id beyond my pay grade.

Even with all that has transpired today in the Senate, I am still 100% certain that there will be NO comprehensive immigration bill passed this year. The House will hold strong, and there will be a border enforcement bill passed as a stop-gap measure right before November. Our side will be happy, win more seats, Tom Daschle will be saddened. But I've been wrong before.

But not about trolls.

The Constitution has its principles, the BOR and the Constitution also has its pragmatism, the rest of the document.

Read the procedures of the Constitution. It describes a process of politics and pragmatism.

You're wrong if you believe pragmatism is unprincipled.

Being hard-nosed to the point of cutting it off is not principled, it's self defeating.
