I would like to see Murtha explain why 620 soldiers re-upped for another 3 years at Fort Carson , Colorado last week, many of them having already served two postings in Iraq.

Almost a whole battalion re-upped, together, unanimously.

Yeah, we are losing the war......but Americans already know that Murtha is a POS. He is finished as a politician whether he is re-elected or not.

IIRC Congressmen and Senators upped their pay to $165,500.00 at the last pay raise they gave themselves. Normally they spend 172 days a year working in DC, but this year they'll only work 71 days.(no explanation given in the report I read)

$165,500.00 divided by 71 days = $2330.00

$2330.00 per day this scumball servant is paid for being a traitor to our troops and country.

Instead of e-mail Muthra, e-mail our republican congressmen and demand that they censure Muthra for convicting these marines in the press without a trial.

As a retired Army vet I'd like to say that Murtha is a real pig. He is a disgrace to every American who has ever worn a military uniform. Then again, he could be suffering from Alzheimer's and doesn't have a clue about what he's saying or doing.

In all my posts here, I have never resorted to the overused term "outrage." That is, until now. I heard the tape of Murtha on Hardball, as played on Hewitt's show.

If I was in this man's presence, I would do him physical harm and proudly serve my jail time. I am outraged that he would act as judge and jury on our military personnel prior to a charge being filed and/or a finding being made.

His cheap ploy of assigning the blame to Bush was low, but his betrayal of the troops is unconscionable. I'm going to have to go calm down somehow, I have not been this angry in quite some time.
