Shays is a RINO.
Dodd is pure liberal. Think of Ted Kennedy minus the dead women.
I had a brief but face-to-face social encounter with this guy many years ago. What was most impressive about him was the quantity of alcohol he consumed.
Later, a close friend met someone from Dodd's home town who said Dodd's father and Dodd's brother were both known as drunks.
It's not surprising a lot of these boobs are drunks. They are not accountable to anyone. They can drink all of the time and just show up to the Senate when they please.
It's kind of like being in college - you really are not accountable to anyone, except your parents if you're getting all Ds and Fs.
You're right - I WAS thinking of Shays. And yes, he WAS a sellout during the Clinton impeachment phase.
I think the term you should use is CHANCE
