He said "he is considering a run for president because constituents are telling him that the country is going in the wrong direction and politicians often seem blind to their concerns.

"'Families are under incredible pressure,' he said. 'They're working less and paying more. There's a sense the challenges they face are unprecedented.'"

My note -- he's got to be kidding -- "unprecedented?" With less than 5% unemployed? What a bunch of crap.

'They're working less and paying more.

I don't get this statement...maybe they should work more? I am just going to put this up as a weird statement that I don't understand.

Christopher Dodd - If I recall, he was one of the RINO sellouts during the Clinton impeachment phase!

I know, I was laughing at that myself. With <5% unemployment. Who's working less? I wonder if Dodd voted for the 1990 (?) "Luxury Tax Bill." That certainly made people (shipbuilders) in his state work less and pay more, ha ha ha.

"Christopher Dodd - If I recall, he was one of the RINO sellouts during the Clinton impeachment phase!"

On FR nearly everybody gets called a "RINO" eventually.

Even a democrat like Dodd!!

I don't even think Dodd could get Kennedy to vote for him - just for old times sake.

"Dodd isn't a RINO. He is a full fledge communist sympathizer in the Dimocrat party."

Well said. The dims are desperate for someone "new" to add to their growing collection of dwarves for 08. They are hoping one of their neoMarxists "sticks" when they sling him up against the wall.

Chris Dodd running for president?

He's the only Dim in the Senate fatter than New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. Maybe they should get Jenny Craig to sponsor their run.
