There are many valid reasons that couples decide not to take this step, and it's unconscionable to demand that they do so just because a means of contraception is being withheld for no good reason
I didn't demand anything .. I simply stated that if she and her hubby really wanted to avoid another pregnancy .. either one of them by choice could have gotten a snip snip
If they don't want to do that .. then take personal responsibility for their actions

Also unfortunately, it's behavior like this which is giving conservatism liberalism a bad name, and reinforcing the negative stereotype of conservatives as overly moralistic busybodies liberals who want to control other people's lives and force other people to obey their personal views on same sex marriage, reproductive rights (abortion), higher taxes and a total nanny state. This kind of stuff doesn't help bring more people to the conservative liberal (progressive) movement, and it drives a lot of people away.

This was a concocted story listing every "emotional, touchy-feely, anti-Bush, anti-conservative, pro-abortion (read murder)" leftist agitprop as an excuse to liberalize attitudes towards widespread availability of both abortion and morning-after pill use. Look, son, the point remains that you were ranting about RU-486, when this editorial wasn't about that. It was about a *different* kind of "morning after pill" that works on *different* principles, and is neither "abortion" nor "murder" -- it simply prevents ovulation.
And your screeching rant above doesn't alter or excuse your fumbling of your facts, nor does it somehow make me in the "wrong" for correcting your error.

She spoke disparagingly of pharmacists who are 'allowed' to follow their consciences and NOT carry the morning after pill, thus thwarting her plan. She was more concerned about something messing up her finely tuned, carefully planned, little life, than accepting this wonderful gift that was given her and her husband. She was so self-centered, that even though she could afford it more than most, she couldn't see what a wonderful opportunity she had to enrich the lives of her children, and the relationship between her and her husband.
Very sad.

Your argument is stupid. No one is trying to force anything on anyone (except the Washington Post, the left, and apparently yourself). If you continue with this form of "logic", it's like saying every doctor should perform abortions. Some do, but most do not. Doctors and pharmacists are entitled to their own morals and religious beliefs, which are in fact, guaranteed and protected by the Constitution, at least the last time I checked.

Your information is wrong. Plan B can prevent ovulation or it can prevent the embryo from implanting after fertilization, in that respect it is an abortofacient.
There is of course a timeline where the former is much more likely than the latter but the notion of informed consent would seem to demand the public know the facts.
The woman is pissed off at conservatives, I wonder who her aborted baby is pissed off at.
