Serbia told to drop "negative" influence on Kosovo

PRISTINA, Serbia (Reuters) - Serbia must drop its "negative" influence on Serbs in Kosovo and tell them to re-engage with the ethnic Albanian majority, the major powers said on Thursday, as a decision nears on the province's fate.

[...]

The West holds Belgrade responsible for a Serb boycott of political life in the United Nations-run province, which it says is complicating efforts to decide Kosovo's future this year in U.N.-led talks.

[...]

Diplomats say the West favors independence. But with a decision due within the year, signs of resistance among the Serb minority are growing, with the explicit backing of Belgrade.

Leaders of 50,000 Serbs in the north, which runs adjacent to central Serbia, said last week they had cut ties with the capital Pristina over a spate of shootings they blame on ethnic Albanians.

The 17,000-strong NATO peace force plans to reopen an old base in the north to bolster mobile units, reflecting growing concern that Serb resistance there could escalate into a unilateral bid to partition the province.

"The UN has actually misdirected and covered their tracks for their disruption of the peace process. Certain members of the UN work and profit from the Mafia. The Serbs are allowed to be targets by the UN Backed KLA which has never been disbanded. They redefined the KLA into the KPC, TMK. These are exactly the same members with recruitment criteria, that made up the KLA. The ones that were not eligable to join the TMK or KPC went to the UCPMB, Black Eagles paramilitary group and others in order to chase the Serbs out of Kosovo, or murder them. The rule of law is completely out of control and absolutely ineffective. Fact."

And the killer point is , NO ONE CARES.

Infidels , Christians , etc , are being terrorised in a 21st century jihad. It's that simple.

"However, the efforts of the CIA in Serbia were outstanding in as much as they helped turn the youth against their former communist dictatorship"

Not really, teh CIA had nothing to do with that.

The CIA had absolutely nothing to do with that. The CIA brought the Muslim Muh from Afghanistan to Bosnia, created massacres and the Marcale Massacre, Operation Storm, and much more misdirection to stir the Serbs to respond to insurrection.....and the Serbs fell into the trap by responding heavily handed.......you know the rest.....

South Serbia Albanians want self-administration 15 June 2006 | 16:52 | Source: Beta

PREŠEVO -- Several hundreds of Albanians protested today, calling for self-administration in the Preševo Valley region.

At the rally, entitled “Stop the discrimination and marginalisation of Albanians in the Preševo Valley,” President of the Democratic Action Party Riza Haljimi said that the Albanians at the protest want to show the inadequate approach which the government is taking in solving the very sensitive questions of the Preševo valley community.

Haljimi said that the Albanian citizens will demand a decentralisation plan from the Serbian Government that will give the region of South Serbia, which includes the Bujanovac, Preševo and Medveða municipalities, self-administration.

Saw this coming in 2000, as the UCPMB attempted this in 2000-2001......
