We have sought no enslavement of the conquered, no confiscation of their property, nor abused their people.
We have elected leaders who we feel will act in the best interests of the US and of freedom loving people throughout the world. Americans will pay any price to defend our freedom, make no mistake about that.
Any enemies of the USA should try to comprehend where they would be today without the stability, humility, and prosperity the US has delivered to the world.
And we don't even really expect to be thanked.

It is equally obvious that the media do not wait to issue its guilty judgement, even before the facts come in.
It's lazy journalism. Passing judgement before all the facts are in is much easier than investigating for truth.

I'm not inferring, I am saying right out that the greenest recruit is superior to the girly men that make up the majority of MSM, they know it and hate them for it. Since you phrased your question as you did let me just say then that micro is the operative word -:)
As I said I think it is a mix. Some as you say very politically driven, some will not read anything other then what is spoon fed them and other are plans old stupid. I don’t know what the percentages of each are though.
But I would guess most are in the category of not willing to read anything out side their faith. This type of liberal is the most religious people on the planet.
There are many reasons wny the Left cannot fight the War - or any war, really, but I think that its most basic problem is that they refuse to endorse, promote, or hold in any kind of regard the kinds of skills and professions required to fight the war. This relates back to the fact that they just don't "do" that kind of stuff. From mechanical engineering to rifle marksmanship, from program management to rocket science, they just don't do it, any of it. Their idea of a brutally effective weapon is a can of mace in a purse. Their concept of effective strategy is a sharp crack during a faculty lounge discussion. Why do they so despise our military? Why do they never come to its defense? Why do they never understand the frightful plight of the soldier who, when fired upon by the enemy, has no recourse but to fire back if he wishes to stay alive? Why does the liberal not understand what he has seen countless times, namely, that the Jihadist enemy positions women and children in his front while shooting at our soldiers?
It is because the liberal moralizer deep down knows that he does not have the physical courage and might of the soldier. Compared to the soldier, he is a coward and weakling. His strength lies only in bringing law suits and sounding morally superior to the rest of us.
The leftists are incensed because war was for evermore abolished in the 70's when they overthrew the nations and brought the defeat in Vietnam. They hate the fact they have lost. Cindy Shaeen hates her son because he spit in her pacifist face and joined the military. She can't get over the betrayal.
War is thought to be out of style and the fact it is still around is vexing.
The only way to end the pacifist rant is to grind them into the ground . They must be opposed at every oppurtunity. Free Republic is a very good way to oppose the misguided domestic enemies of our Republic.
