And then complain because they are dying from obesity related heart disease.
I'm sensing a pattern here. You?
We're seeing helicopters in the skies quite a lot the last couple of days. We're hearing from the Iraqis about a lot of checkpoints as well as American and Iraqi soldiers around town.
What we're not hearing is explosions. It has been blissfully calm.
I hope this crackdown keeps going until they've eradicated the terrorists here in town. Al Qaeda is disoriented now and this should further weaken them.
Fingers and toes are crossed. ;-)
Yeah, I can see the media doing something like that.
The Iraqis told us about bad traffic snarls yesterday because of the numerous checkpoints. However, none of them were complaining. They support anything that will clean the scum out of this town.
Today, I heard the traffic is better. The checkpoints are still up and soldiers are still all over the place, but perhaps they've got it better organized now.
If the media tells you that the Iraqis are complaining, don't believe them. They'll go out there and talk to 500 Iraqis until they find one or two who will complain and they'll put them on the air. That's how they operate.
Glad to hear it. Just heard on FOX this morning that they've already captured and/or killed another 700 scumbags based on intel found in Zark's safehouse.
Yippee! They also have a photo of Al Masi (?) who is the new leader. Time to drop a few more bombs. ;)
Stay safe! I have a few friends working in Kuwait right now, so they're pretty much out of harm's way. My cousin is finally done with his rotations (6 of them) and home safe and sound. He's a Loadmaster for the AF.
I'm an ODS Vet, so my apologies for the UN (and our idiot Congress) tying our hands and not letting us finish this job a decade ago. :(
But, you needed something exciting to do too, right? LOL! ;)
"Everyone knows you, Diana!"
Uht-Oh. ;)
" ...sent residents, including women and children, scurrying for cover. "
They just can't write a story without alluding to the women and children ... as if any neighborhood is comprised only of men.
Yes, and then we will have law suits because Gitmo's coffee is to hot and the food is to high in cholesterol and saturated fat.
