IF ANN COULTER didn't exist, someone would have to invent her. She's the perfect creature for the ethereal planet of Infotainment, a realm where fact hardly exists, compassion is a yawn, civility is a bore, and the national anthem is "another opening, another show."
Coulter's comments criticizing the 9/11 widows were everywhere in the media recently. But it's sometimes hard to figure out whether she's a spoof segment on "The Daily Show," a sitcom character too caricatured to exist in the world that isn't composed of electrons dashing to and fro, or a latter-day Father Coughlin, who spreads hate like hair spray. She's miniskirted, bottle-blonde, and mean as a warthog, a fascist fashionista.
Coulter is the perfect icon of the way in which the values of infotainment now have almost completely taken over what we used to call news and comment. As "Godless," her latest book about dreaded liberals, was to roll off the presses, Coulter took out after the widows, to wit: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities, and stalked by grief-arazzis. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much." She also called them "harpies" whose husbands were probably about to divorce them before the Twin Towers fell.

I'm not sure if this had to be excerpted or not, as it's not from the Boston Globe but from my college's newspaper database. I decided to play it safe and excerpt it, however.

Intersting that your link doesn't go to the Boston Globe but to tech-school web page that requires a password??? Wierd.

I'm sorry, I could not get past this part. I wonder if this 'journalist' has bothered to read any of Coulter's work. If she were to read it she would see that much of it consists of actual quotes and events by liberals followed by her own commentary. I find myself hating the disgusting media more and more every single day.
Did she say this in her book about Jersey girls.
I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much.
Because on H and C she said that Newsweek lied when she claims she said that.
Hey everyone- buy your Dad the new Ann Coulter book for Father's Day! My dad got his today and loves it!
Sorry about that Mods, my bad.
Oh please, Caryn. It's not like she's been given an Oscar or anything.
Poor Caryl, Ann is a female that is successful. Feminazis had nothing to do with it.
The more interesting question is ''Can this collegiate putz even read, never mind whether he/she/it **bothered** to read?''
Then I saw the bio, which explained everything: The writer is a professor of journalism.
No, she said Newsweek distorted what she said. Unfortunately, most have done the same. It was a reference to how much attention the Jersey Girls have received and gone after and how much they seemed to like that attention because it gave them a reason to spout off about President Bush.
"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much."
What the G/D bastards on the left are trying to spread is that she is supposed to have said that they were glad their husbands died. I have heard that statement on talk radio, and it is false, it is filthy, and it is typically leftist. And that is what she denied saying on H & C. She has never denied the quote I posted from the book.
I would bet money that this harpie is ugly as hell and resents Ann Coulter being described as attractive. Its Rush Limbaugh Undeniable Truths of Life '24. Feminism was established as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society'. Ann Coulter doesn't need feminisms' help.

My thoughts and reaction exactly...
Ann knows the RATS are the party of evil and treats them like the Clinton suckers they are. Little wonder she gets slimed with anything but the truth. ( Her take on evolution would seem to be a better target, why are they passing that up, I wonder?)
