Name one Congressman who is complaining about thir salary (please provide a link) and whose stated work year is 185 days. The quality of what happens in a year may be up for debate but your parallel falls askew.

Are you getting a $3,300 pay raise? Congress will.

I stand corrected. I guess teachers are the same as Congressmen.

Kind of a Pyhrric victory there, eh?

They aren't just overpaid, they are EXTREMELY overpaid! Luckily we are only supporting 565 of them, plus 100 Senators. Of course, then there is the staff. But apparently they aren't required to pay minimum wage so there may be some offsetting savings there...
