I said a long time ago when we captured Saddam and put him in jail that he was funding and co-ordinating the insurgency from inside his jail cell. I don't think he ever stopped doing it even when we captured him.

Assuming Hussein isn't funding the terrorists in Iraq wiht the rest of his stolen millions, we know exactly how he'd end the violence. He'd shoot everyone in the streets, and have planes, helicopters, and tanks kill tens of thousands until everyone was back in line and quiet. We're perfectly capable of doing that without his help, but we aren't a despot tyrant nation, and our military does not slaughter civilians, contrary to what the liberal anti-war media and Murtha says about them.
